Parkdale Veterinary Wellness Center has been keeping pets healthy since 1983 (as Parkdale Animal Hospital until recently). Dr. Laura Betts and Roger Betts have been running Parkdale Vet since 2008.

In 2021 the name was changed from Parkdale Animal Hospital to Parkdale Veterinary Wellness Center – we realize it’s a mouthful, you can call us Parkdale Vet 🙂 The name better reflects the practice philosophy – longevity through wellness. Preventative care allows our beloved furry friends to live longer and more comfortable lives.

Through cutting-edge medicine using digital and laser technology, in-house laboratory, and a well-trained dedicated team we can diagnose and treat dogs and cats so they can get back to the mischief we love. Despite the advanced technology, we don’t skimp on the old-fashioned TLC with lots of cuddles and belly rubs (pets only, please).

We use low-stress handling techniques including calming pheromones, soothing music, and yummy treats for all. Our lodging facility is second to none. Our Guest Services team makes sure your pets have their own vacation while you’re away. Check out the lodging section to learn more.

We offer evening hours, same-day urgent appointments, and Saturday surgery/dental procedures to better work with your schedule. We know sometimes you can’t come to us so we’ll come to you to deliver food/medication or pick up/deliver your pet for an appointment (restrictions apply).

A amazing place with absolutely wonderful workers. First visit was unfortunately to put my yellow lab Hunter down. Hunter was suffering from cancer. Considering the circumstances Parkdale did a amazing job. Though the situation was a tragic one, the vet and everyone was very kind. You could tell they actually cared. Hunter was able to pass on peacefully and that's all that matter to me and I will be forever grateful... Ended up getting another pup down the road and I knew exactly where to go for any and all his needs. I definitely highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
